Descriptif de fonction
As a project QHSE engineer you will be part of the team that is on site on one of our offshore projects worldwide, responsible for the maintenance and control of QHSE-S practices on site, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Attend and support daily safety briefings
- Carry out compliance monitoring of SSOW
- Safety tours and audits
- Incident investigations
- PTW management/ monitoring compliance
- Supporting team/ engineers to develop SSOW/ TP in terms of ensuring hazards, risks are identified and controls suitable
- Encourage and support SHOC card submission and analyse and report these
- Active presence on deck to provide advice and guidance
- Attend meetings to support project team
Compétences
Technical profile requirements:
- 7 yrs experience in the field of health, safety and environment, preferably in the offshore/marine industry
- Experience and knowledge of maintaining and operation management systems to the guiding standards, with priority on ISM and/or OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Familiarity with HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA (Lean Six Sigma) and other risk assessment techniques
- Understanding of international HSE regulations applicable in the offshore/marine industry
Non-Technical profile requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge & experience with MS Office
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Fit for Offshore work.
Methodology/Certification requirements:
MSC/MSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanic Engineering, Chemical Engineering OR equivalent through experience
OR
MSc Degree Safety Engineering, prevention advisor level 1
- Offshore medical
- GWO: W@H, First Aid and Sea Survival or BOSIET
- NEBOSH HSE qualification (international/ General/ Construction or Diploma) or equivalent.
- Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) and/or Basic Safety Training (BST)
Language proficiencies:
- English
- Other, local, languages are a plus
Rotation Schedule:
4 weeks on - 4 weeks off
