Descriptif de fonction
In the team responsible for project studies and project implementation follow-up, tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Determines the needs and selects the methods for:
- Soil investigations (geotechnical, geophysical, hydrogeological, geological)
- Foundation techniques (pile foundations, ground improvement, shallow foundations)
- Stability issues: retaining walls, slope stability, etc
and prepares the technical specifications for these
- Interprets the results of soil investigations
- Responsible for classical and specialized calculations, terrain modeling, and soil-structure interaction
- Oversees the execution of the works
Compétences
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn classical geotechnical software packages (Plaxis, Flac, D-series, Foxta, etc.)
- Good language skills (Dutch, French, and English)
- Can work independently, takes initiative, makes decisions easily, has a good ear, and provides customized solutions to clients
- Dynamic, flexible, and responsible
- Seeks a mix of fieldwork and office work
Expériences
- Civil or industrial engineer (civil engineering, mining/geotechnics, bio-engineering in rural engineering)
- Possibly has experience in calculations related to the discipline and is specialized/interested in geotechnics
