Descriptif de fonction
1. Safety Management:
-
Prioritize the health and safety of all personnel on the construction site, ensuring strict adherence to the EHS program as well as local regulations.
-
Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
-
Be responsible for EHS implementation on site with the Contractors and with the support of the EHS team.
-
Have Stop Work Authority (SWA) if works are not carried out in accordance with EHS and Quality requirements.
2. Developing and Implementing EHS Policies and Procedures:

Create and update EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Ensure these align with Owner requirements, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

Communicate these policies effectively to the PMC and Contractors teams.

Monitor and report on the sites.
-
Support the package leads.
3. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification:

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
-
Perform risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and severity of potential incidents.
-
Implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.
-
Review and approve the RAM’s on EHS aspects.
4. Training and Communication:

Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
-
Promote EHS awareness through various communication channels.
-
Encourage employee participation in EHS initiatives.
5. Incident Investigation and Reporting:
-
Investigate accidents, near misses, and other incidents to determine root causes.
-
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
-
Maintain accurate records of incidents and investigation findings.
-
Report to Project Leader and client.
6. Environmental Management:
-
Identify and manage environmental aspects and impacts.
-
Implement programs to reduce waste, conserve energy, and prevent pollution.
-
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
7. Emergency Response:
-
Develop and implement emergency response plans.
-
Conduct drills and exercises to ensure preparedness.
-
Coordinate emergency response activities in the event of an incident.
Compétences
- Proven and significant experience (minimum 10 years) in a dedicated EHS management role within large-scale construction projects, preferably within the data center or similar high-hazard industries, including experience leading and managing EHS teams.
- Perfect proficiency of English
Willing to work at night and on weekends/public holidays if needed.
